Awards
Since its inception, Young People’s Theatre has won critical acclaim, including 77 Dora Mavor Moore Awards and 13 Chalmers Children’s Awards. In 2016, YPT received the Toronto Arts Foundation Arts for Youth Award, presented by Toronto Mayor John Tory. In 1996, the company was also awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for the Arts.
