Our Summer Drama Camps are in full swing here at YPT! The building is bursting at the seams with creativity and excitement as our participants work together with each other and their instructors to develop storytelling skills and theatrical techniques which culminate in a presentation for their fellow Drama Camp participants, family and friends the final day of the session.
We value the feedback of our participants and their families. We wanted to share a special message we received from the mother of one of our participants, Alisa, following her daughter Kaitlin’s two weeks with us here at YPT in the Music Theatre program earlier this summer.
I wanted to thank you and your truly incredibly staff for making Kaitlin’s two weeks at Young People’s Theatre such a rewarding and enjoyable experience. I know that I was totally blown away by the calibre of the performances on Friday evening and most especially the level of connectivity and depth that these young people demonstrated. The fact that Kaitlin found the whole experience not only valuable from a learning perspective, but interpersonally in terms of the connections she made and the fun that she had makes it so worthwhile, from my point of view as a parent. She took away so much from this experience and for that, I thank you.
We will look forward to continuing our relationship with you and your staff in the future.
Sincerely,
Alisa Metcalfe
Check out a clip of some of our Summer Drama Camp Music Theatre participants rehearsing a song about stage fright that they created with the guidance of their instructors Erik Ross and Joanne Mitchell.

What a wonderful program! It’s so great to see kids learning new skills and exploring their creative side while they have fun.
