Junior Ensemble 2018

Summer Camp 2015 -8-9 rehearsal 008 - 1000px
Grades 7-8 (maximum of 12 students)
Downtown Toronto (Winter & Spring)

The Junior Ensemble is an intensive five-month program for Grade 7-8 students who have demonstrated a readiness for more advanced theatre training. Over two terms, students create a cohesive ensemble, developing theatre performance and collective creation skills. This program culminates in a devised play to be performance on the Mainstage at YPT.

The Junior Ensemble is a collective creation process, and is dependent upon everyone being present and actively contributing at all times. Please confirm with your parents and caregivers, before applying, that you can commit to every day of rehearsal and the final performance. Attendance at all rehearsals and the final performance is mandatory.

Admission by audition: In order to be scheduled for the December audition, please contact Breanne Ritchie, Drama School Coordinator at 416.363.5131 x263 or britchie@youngpeoplestheatre.ca. You will be required to submit a completed Registration Form for Junior Ensemble.

Please note: We will not process your payment until a spot has been offered and accepted by the student and parent/caregiver.

As spots in the Junior Ensemble are limited, we encourage students who wish to guarantee Winter and/or Spring term programming to simultaneously register for the Gr. 7-8 Drama class of their choice. Payment will be transferred if student is accepted into the Junior Ensemble.

Audition Dates: December 1st & 2nd, 2017

You will be personally contacted with your audition time after submitting your Registration Form to Breanne.
