Drama School

We strongly believe that acting is a life skill that develops creativity, collaboration and communication. These are vital skills for today’s classrooms and tomorrow’s working adults.

Now in our 42nd year, the YPT Drama School offers fun-filled and meaningful theatrical experiences. Our classes are led by professional arts educators whose skills are always expanding through our professional development sessions and their own professional experiences. We introduce young people to the theatre and also help them develop into positive, social beings. Their unique voices and creativity shape our world today and will steward it for the future.

The YPT Drama School offers year-round drama classes in our Summer (ages 6 - 18), Fall-Winter-Spring (grades JK - 12), and March Break sessions (grades JK - 6). We also offer personal coaching sessions for academic or professional auditions. We have three locations for our Fall-Winter-Spring classes in Downtown Toronto, Etobicoke and in North York. YPT Drama School is a founding member of the Toronto Association of Acting Studios (TAAS).
