Shane Carty

Shane’s theatre credits include eleven seasons at the Stratford Festival, with roles in The Sound of Music, Crazy for You, Much Ado About Nothing, The Duchess of Malfi, Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Brothers Karamazov, as well as many others. His other credits include: Onegin (Musical Stage/NAC); Sweeney Todd, This is How it Goes (Neptune Theatre); Beauty and the Beast (Citadel/Theatre Calgary); Les Misérables, The Red Priest, You Can’t Take It With You, Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad, Hay Fever (Thousand Islands Playhouse); Marry Me a Little, Venus in Fur (Theatre Kingston); Pygmalion (Guild Festival); Sweeney Todd, A Year With Frog and Toad (Sudbury Theatre Centre); The Mikado, Sticks and Stones (NAC); Othello (St. Lawrence Shakespeare); Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Touchmark); Einstein’s Gift, It’s A Wonderful Life, The Wizard of Oz, Gatsby (The Grand); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Les Misérables (WCT); Treasure Island (TNB); Romeo and Juliet (Resurgence); Assassins (MTC); Sunday in the Park With George (Talk Is Free). His television credits include Anne with an E, Suits, Murdoch Mysteries, Flashpoint and Reign. Shane is a graduate of Queen’s University and the Birmingham Conservatory at the Stratford Festival.
